What we collect

  • Public by design: display name, optional link, optional tagline, optional logo, amount paid, crowned/dethroned timestamps.
  • Private, never published: your email address, Stripe session and payment identifiers, and the status of your checkout attempt.
  • Pre-launch waiting list: if you ask to be told when the Crown goes live, we store only your email address, the date, and where you arrived from (source, referrer, UTM parameters, landing page). We use it for one purpose only: to send you the single launch announcement you asked for. No newsletter, no marketing profiling, no sharing or selling. You can ask us to delete it at any time and every email we send includes a way to opt out. Legal basis: your request (consent). Emails are stored privately and are never exposed publicly or through any public API.
  • Anonymous usage events: page views, CTA clicks, checkout started, checkout completed, waiting-list opens/submissions, shares and King page views, plus a coarse device category (mobile/tablet/desktop). No cookies, no identifiers, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking, no profiling.

Why and on what basis

Contract performance (assigning and displaying the crown, sending your receipt and your dethroning notice), legal obligation (accounting and tax records), and legitimate interest (fraud prevention, moderation, aggregate statistics that do not identify you).

Processors

Stripe (payments), Lovable Cloud / Supabase (database, storage, hosting infrastructure) and our transactional email provider. Card details are handled solely by Stripe and never reach our servers.

Retention

Public King records are permanent by design — the Hall of Kings is the product. Emails and payment identifiers are kept for as long as required for accounting and dispute purposes, then deleted. Abandoned checkout attempts are kept for a short period for reconciliation.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Write to koftheworld007@gmail.com. Note that we can remove your email and identifiers, and we can rename or anonymise a public entry, but the existence of a historical reign and its amount may be retained for accounting integrity. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
